How to apply

Ordinary year 9 admissions

The college participates in the Local Authority (Hertfordshire County Council) coordinated scheme and applications should be made on-line to the Local Authority. The number of places for entry to Freman College in September 2019 is 210. The deadline for applications for September 2019 has passed. Applications made now will be classed as late and get lowest priority. Parents are welcome to call and arrange a tour during the college day and to meet the Headteacher, Ms Loughran. Please contact the college office on: 01763 271818 to arrange an appointment.

Appeal process

The deadline to lodge an appeal for September 2019 is 4pm on 29 March 2019.

How to appeal

Parents wishing to appeal should log into their online application at Hertfordshire County Council Admissions and click on the link "register an appeal".

In year admissions

Freman College administers its own in-year admissions. Application forms can be accessed here or from the college office on 01763 271818. Parents should return the application form direct to Freman College (address on the form).

The college may admit students in accordance with HCC’s Fair Access Protocol and if it does so, such students will be admitted ahead of those of the college's continuing interest list.
