A year (year 9)

In the A Year the curriculum broadens for all students with the introduction of some new subjects which they will not have encountered in Years 7 & 8.

I & E year (years 10 & 11)

Key Stage 4 –the I and E Year - is a critical time in every student’s life. The results they obtain at the end of this period will have a major influence on their future career opportunities.

College day

Freman College is in many ways a unique institution. We believe that many of our strengths derive from the unusual character of the college.

Equipment

Students are required to be properly equipped at all times. This page will give you a comprehensive list of the equipment your son or daughter should have with them every day.

Teachers will set appropriate homework for students in line with the prescribed timetable. There are exceptional circumstances where it is acknowledged this can’t happen or isn’t appropriate, but to support students and parents staying to the timetable is expected.

Sport plays a big part of the students' life at Freman College with our excellent facilities including a 4 court sports hall, fitness suite, old gym, 3 tennis courts / netball courts, a MUGA and extensive playing fields.
