Sixth Form Admissions

Sixth Form Open Evening - Thursday 1st October 2026

Year 11 students, parents and carers are invited to attend the Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 1st October 2026. We hope you can join us at this event. This will be an opportunity to speak with teachers from each of the excellent Sixth Form courses we offer at Freman College and learn more about the specific content and structure of each course. In order to minimise waiting time for students wishing to speak to subject teachers, we are inviting students in Mills and Moore houses to arrive at 5:30pm and students in Butler and Hepworth houses to arrive at 6:30pm. External students, who do not yet attend Freman College, are welcome to arrive at 5.30pm or 6.30pm. There will be a presentation in the Hall by the Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form at both 5:30pm and 6:30pm, after which students will be able to visit department areas and the evening will end at 7:45pm.

Short clips about each of our Sixth Form courses

Students value the care that is taken to provide them with a broad range of leadership roles. They proudly wear their prefect badges and enjoy the opportunities to work with students from Years 9 to 11. Students are acutely aware of their responsibilities as the oldest students in the college.
