Alumni
Calling all former Freman College and Ward Freman School students- join the 600 plus ex-students who have already!
Do you have knowledge and experience which our current students could learn from? Would you like to keep up to date with developments at Freman?
We are really keen to keep in touch with our alumni and we now have a quick and easy way of doing this. By visiting Future First you can register on our alumni website and enable us to keep up to date with what you are doing.
Recently alumni have given our students advice on the universities they attended and courses they followed. They have also advised on the careers they are now involved in. This has been invaluable.
Ex-students have returned for the past 2 years to offer students in the Lower Sixth advice on university courses, apprenticeships and employment routes. The students, all of whom left in the last three years, were able to share a wealth of experience covering an enormous range of career and degree choices from psychology and aerospace engineering to medicine, law and animal management. The event is part of a year-round programme of activities to encourage students in the Sixth Form to think ahead and plan their post-18 options.
We're fantastically proud of all of our ex-students and grateful that so many are prepared to give up their time to come in and help current students in this way. Students in our Lower Sixth will have benefited greatly by speaking to people who, only a few years ago, were in their position and having to make similar difficult decisions about their futures. Such important decisions can seem really daunting when you're still only half-way through your A-level courses, and it must be reassuring to hear from people who have so successfully navigated their way to the next stage.
