Catering

Since September 2018, Freman College has run the catering services in-house. Our experienced Catering Manager, Kinga White heads up our team, and constantly revises the menus and freshens up the offer that the college delivers.

We have three service points - a main dining area, a catering trailer on the playground outside the sports hall and a separate sixth form canteen, which we are expanding to meet the different requirements of the sixth form along with the increasing population of the sixth form.

We work with the student councils to make sure that we are providing the food that the students like whilst meeting the high nutritional standards we are setting ourselves to give the students the energy they need to get through the day.

The menus for a rolling three week programme are below. There is a vegetarian option available each day, but as we are still experimenting with menus most of these are currently not listed.

The main meal is £2.50 with a meal deal available for £3.50 which includes a main meal, drink and fruit/cookie/muffin/biscuit.

Our food is a "grab & go" service, but all the containers and "plastics" which we serve our food in are compostable.
