Freman College / Edwinstree School Pays d’Auge Tour
This is a joint trip with students from Edwinstree Middle School. There are 10 places for Edwinstree students and 40 places for Freman College students.
This is an exceptional opportunity for our young musicians.
The Itinerary:
Our Music Tour to Normandy is designed to provide a rich and immersive experience for our students. From exploring the historic D-Day Landing Beaches to performing in stunning locales like the Chateau Guillaume le Conquerant, this trip offers a perfect blend of historical education and musical growth.
Here's a brief overview of the trip schedule:
Monday, July 22nd, 2024: Arrival day, settling in, and potential rehearsal time.
Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024: Educational visit to the D-Day Landing Beaches and a performance opportunity at Juno Beach Centre.
Wednesday, July 24th, 2024: Outdoor adventure at Ouilly Loisirs and exploration of Chateau Guillaume le Conquerant with a performance opportunity.
Thursday, July 25th, 2024: Visiting a typical French market, exploring Lisieux and the Basilica Saint-Therese, and an enchanting evening concert at Chateau Canon.
Friday, July 26th, 2024: Farewell to Pays d’Auge.

Inclusions and Costs:
The cost of the Music Tour, approximately £550 per student, covers all activities, transportation, and accommodation. However, please note that it does not include lunch and meals during transit on the first and last days. We will be staying on a half-board basis throughout the trip.
The trip will need to be paid either in full when a place has been awarded, or across 5 instalments:
£150 upon confirmation of being awarded a place and by 30th September
£100 31st October
£100 31st January
£100 29th February
£100 31st March
Limited Spaces: Please be aware that space is limited, and priority will be given to students who actively participate in music extracurricular clubs and activities. Unfortunately, there is no financial assistance available for this trip.
Physical Activity: It's important to note that this trip will involve a fair amount of walking, so please consider this when making your decision.
