Over recent years, more and more Freman College students have taken the opportunity to complete programmes with National Citizen Service, either in the summer holiday or October half-term. These are outstanding experiences which can make a real difference to students’ confidence, team-work and leadership skills, whilst allowing them to contribute something very worthwhile to their local community. This opportunity is only available to students aged 15-17.
In recognition of the number of our Sixth Form students who engage with NCS, Freman College has been awarded “Champion School” status for a second time. If you are planning to join the Sixth Form next year and have not yet signed up to go on one of the NCS programmes that are available to you, you can find details on the NCS website
